Friday Bonus Video: ACWSA Style Skirmishing

Here is a really nice video of skirmishing in the American Civil War Shooting Association. There aren’t any notes on when or where this footage was taken, but if anyone can provide some info, please post in the comments section below!

I took this video in 2005 at the Old Wade House State Park in Greenbush, Wisconsin (just west of Sheboygan). The ACWSA held an event there to help them raise money. It was my first attempt at digital movie editing with just the basic Windows Movie Maker app. I particularly liked how well the song “My Fathers Gun” by David Kincaid worked with it!

This video was taken at the Stoney Bank gun club near Oconomowac, Wisconsin, probably about 2006-2008. It was a great range, but difficult to gain access. No skirmishes have been held on this range since 2008.

Well, I just saw Jim Boullion’s comments, and upon lookling more closely, I see that I was mistaken in thinking it was at Stoney Bank.
